Welcome to Kipos Urania, my digital garden.
As I was researching material for the 100th episode of Quid Prose Quo, I came across the concept of a digital garden in "A Brief History & Ethos of the Digital Garden" by Maggie Appleton. The idea intrigued me enough to give it a try myself.
Who Am I?
My name is D. C. Wynters. I'm an astronomer and author who likes to dabble in any subject that might be useful in worldbuilding. I also enjoy table top roleplaying games, running, and playing the organ.
What's in a Name?
I chose to call this site Kipos Urania because Urania was the Greek muse of astronomy. Seeing as how I'm an astronomer by training, it seemed fitting. Kipos is the Greek word for garden, so you might translate the whole name as "The Astronomer's Garden."
